1984 audience

I wanted to find out if 1984 would be an appropriate subject for my portfolio piece... I guess it will make most sense to people who have read the book, otherwise I may have to explain this, and orally describing things is not a strong point of mine.

Luckily as I had expected and hoped, 1984 is a popular book and in 2003 was voted as the 8th nations best loved novel.
